Summary

MDG Flooring America – Kiba Studios is seeking motivated Carpet Subcontractor Installers to join our growing team. No prior experience is required—training will be provided for the right candidates. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in flooring installation, with the potential to grow into a crew leader position. Our projects include both new construction and residential remodel work, offering a variety of experiences. We have locations in Medina, North Olmsted and Akron. Installers are expected to travel in and around these areas.

• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Pay: Based on experience

Duties

• Install carpet using stretch-in and glue-down methods.
• Install broadloom and carpet tiles with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work on both new construction and residential remodel projects.
• Maintain daily and final cleanup of the job site to company standards.
• Ensure safe, organized, and efficient work practices at all times.
• Work as part of a team, supporting experienced installers and learning on the job.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients.

Requirements

• No experience required; experience in carpet installation is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and motivated to grow in the trade.
• Reliable transportation and own set of basic tools (specialty tools can be provided/trained on as needed).
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
