This position supports development of Continuity of Operations (COOP) and emergency management plans, policies and procedures and provides advise and recommendation on all aspects of COOP and emergency planning. This position also provides operational support to continuity exercises and activities both in and outside the National Capital Region. The successful candidate will be required to establish consensus among Government internal components and external supported organizations during the planning phase and subsequently monitor required assets and sites for readiness. When necessary, recommend corrective actions and coordinate upgrades, repairs or other actions necessary to maintain readiness.

HOW A CONTINUITY PLANNING ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Develops and maintains disaster and emergency planning and management plans, policies, and procedures
  • Provides advice and recommendations on all aspects of emergency planning.
  • Provides operational support to continuity exercises and activities both in and outside the National Capital Region. Candidate will work in a high paced environment, coordinating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and organizations to achieve mission goals.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
  • Required Skills: Must possess excellent organizational, scheduling, communication (written and verbal), problem solving, and Microsoft office skills; and ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
  • Location: On Customer Site
  • **US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
