RETS Associates has been retained to recruit a CRE Asset Manager in Concord, CA . We’re seeking an experienced real estate professional who will be responsible for overseeing a 3M+ SF portfolio of retail, light industrial, and land assets for a privately held, vertically integrated owner/developer. Responsible for driving portfolio performance through strategic leasing, marketing, property management, and asset-level oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Lead leasing and marketing initiatives to maximize occupancy and cash flow, including broker outreach, digital marketing, and deal negotiations from LOI through lease execution
• Partner with ownership to establish leasing strategies, structure transactions, and ensure compliance with lender and company requirements
• Oversee property management operations and personnel, including budgeting, maintenance, tenant relations, and capital improvement planning
• Provide full-cycle asset management from lease-up and project delivery through long-term operations and dispositions
• Direct tenant improvement and construction projects, coordinate appraisals and valuations, and manage financial forecasting, capital planning, and portfolio reporting
• Serve as the point person for acquisitions, dispositions, and due diligence

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience managing complex assets, teams, and leasing programs within a family-owned or similar environment
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Deep knowledge of California retail markets, construction fundamentals, and property operations
• Proficiency in Yardi, CoStar, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe
• California real estate license required (broker’s license preferred)
