Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Salt Lake City, UT . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Service & Repair 1 position is primarily responsible for servicing and repairing products per work instructions performed in a non-environmentally controlled environment.   
  • Service & Repair 1 is a direct labor position working in a standard production environment, including hazardous materials.
  • Read work instructions (DI).
  • Verify work instructions match the assignment.
  • Verify incumbent is trained to perform work instructions.
  • Collect needed materials from bins.
  • Set up work stations per work instruction.
  • Perform service and repairs and inspect own work as instructed.
  • Learn new work instructions as required by the Supervisor.
  • Complete required training promptly.
  • Assist other service and repair staff with their duties as requested.
  • Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18.00 /hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Temp (6 Months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 month of Assembly experience.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand Device/Work instructions
  • Ability to learn to perform data entry, documentation, and computer software
  • Ability to record data on documentation and in computer software
  • Ability to understand verbal work instructions from the Supervisor
  • Basic knowledge of Windows-based computer software.
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic computer skills.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds on a repeated basis
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) / Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
