The
Area Sales Manager for StruXure is responsible for prospecting new dealers, building relationships and closing sales/deals with dealers in their geographic area of responsibility.This sales position is for the mid-Atlantic/Upper Atlantic region. This role requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities will be: - Develop and manage a target/conversion list of dealers within the assigned territory.
- Prospect and cold-call potential dealers with the assigned territory to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct in-person meetings with prospects to understand their needs, present product/service offerings and negotiate dealer contracts to close sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with select dealers and their dealer sales representatives (key dealers in the geography).
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, marketing, and product development, to provide solutions that meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates and sales reports to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.
- Actively participate in the resolution of customer concerns/complaints.
- Act as a representative at trade shows nationally and/or regionally.
We believe the successful candidate will need: - 1 - 6 + years related outside sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree required in Sales, Marketing, Business or related. As with all positions at AZEK, a satisfactory combination of education and professional experience will be considered
- Strong sales acumen with excellent prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight.
- Travel 75%
Success Metrics: Ninety (90) Days: - Met with your top 30 dealers
- Completed dealer/product training
- Completed training on AIA presentation and action selling
Six (6) Months: - Determine goals and action plans for new dealer conversions
One (1) Year: - Exceed Sales Incentive Plan goal for new dealers
- Increase pipeline activities
Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role is $65,000 to $75,000.In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
