We are hiring Maintenance Technicians to work onsite at our property in the Revere, MA area.

AIR Communities uses industry leading technology for a modern approach to maintenance so our Maintenance Technicians can help as many residents as possible each day. Whether you are turning an apartment to create the perfect move-in experience for new residents or resolving service requests to ensure that our current residents feel at home, every day is filled with new challenges.

Where You Will Work

You will work at The Chase at Overlook Ridge, our large scale, luxury community in Revere, MA, just eight miles from downtown Boston. The property features two modern phases including a 664-unit building and a 722-unit building.

  • Expected hourly rate of $22.00 - $30.00 per hour . You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

What You Will Do

  • Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
  • Follow AIRs process for completion of basic apartment turns to make the apartment ready for the next residents perfect move-in experience
  • With general direction, complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance (i.e. troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances, etc.)
  • May provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support the development of technical skills.
  • May assist with managing vendor quality and may perform move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Responsibilities vary based on team member skillset and community needs, mechanical systems, and season.

What You Have

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience , preferably in some form of facilities or building environment
  • Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
  • A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
  • Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
