Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of maintenance tasks, be highly organized, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to excellence are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
Assist with inventory management of supplies, parts, and equipment.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance as required.
Respond promptly to resident service requests.
Ensure apartment homes are turned over efficiently.
Diagnose and repair HVAC issues, including replacing components.
Troubleshoot and complete plumbing and electrical repairs, such as fixing toilets, light fixtures, garbage disposals, and ceiling fans.
Install, repair, and rekey door and window locks.
Perform interior and exterior touch-up painting as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all common areas, including pools, hallways, breezeways, and parking lots.
Qualifications
HVAC certification preferred.
Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, and electrical work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
Required Skills:
Minimum of one year of relevant maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for HVAC systems (EPA Certification required).
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/painting, carpentry, ceramic tile, fixture, and appliance installation/removal and repairs.
Technical & Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Some college or technical school (preferred).
Relevant maintenance certifications, including HVAC, EPA, and CPO.
Other Requirements:
Valid, non-expired driver's license or state-issued ID.
Reliable transportation.
Must have proper tools and equipment.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
