Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible temp to hire)

Location: Arden Hills, MN 55112

Onsite role (when there is not a training onsite, WFH is acceptable)

Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus is providing moderately complex administrative support for individuals in the Sales Training department.
  • Performs general administrative duties that may include meeting planning, including hotel, meals, and shuttle service.
  • Works directly with the trainers to ensure room set up, AV, and all necessary equipment is in the training rooms and ready for use.
  • Will work with corporate Cvent to ensure all hotel space is within compliance.
  • Serves as a point of contact for customers. Contacts are typically with individuals within own organization and occasionally with contacts outside own organization and involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation.
  • Answers questions related to established policies and procedures. Directs people to the appropriate resource.
  • Assembling and distributing materials
  • Compiling and/or tracking data
  • Verifying the accuracy of data collected
  • Makes decisions within established guidelines regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling of work.
  • Creates and types of routine documents (letters/memos/e-mails, presentations, etc.) and revises as necessary; ensures accuracy in grammar and spelling.
  • Manages work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner.

Education/Experience:

  • High School degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience with Concur is a great plus!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ariba and Cvent
  • Experienced with travel, hotel, training arrangements
