We would like to invite applications for the role of  Accounts Assistant at our site in Waterford 12 month FTC.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting and meeting the overall objectives of the Accounting department. 

A Day in the Life of our Accounts Assistant

• Assist in the month end reporting process.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory audit schedules for a number of legal entities.
• Accounts Analysis
• Controls Testing
• Process documentation and improvements
• Liaising with Global Business Services teams 
• Actively responding to day-to-day queries and data requests.
• Asset verification
• Assist in cashflow forecasting
• Assist with Internal audit queries
• Support grant claim audits
• Supporting the delivery of ad-hoc finance and business operations initiatives and projects.
  

Who we are looking for.......

Are you…. 

• Business Degree qualified or Other Similar qualification?
• Experienced and have ideally 5 years working in finance?
• A team player with a positive and ambitious attitude?
• Results driven and self-motivated?
• Available to take on a 12 month contract?
  

Do you have?

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational, planning and prioritising skills
• Excellent IT Skills, Excel with Sap experience being a distinct advantage
